About the exam
The International Maths Olympiad (IMO) is a platform where students are trained to understand the basics of mathematics. This exam has two levels and is open for students from Class 1 to Class 10. All questions are multiple-choice. The Olympiad forms a base for students to score well in their academics and gives them an edge in solving tricky questions.
How to participate
- Interested schools can participate by registering online with Indian Talent Olympiad; students can also approach their subject teacher to enroll.
- Several schools in India have tied up with ITO — teachers identify students with a flair for maths and encourage them to compete at national and international level.
- Individual students can register online; the website gives clear instructions on payment options and details.
- ITO rewards deserving students who top the Maths Olympiad exam with prizes and awards.

It covers numbers, patterns, measurements, shapes, money, fractions, time, calendar, data handling, decimals, ratio, proportion, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and many more mathematical concepts, building good calculative abilities along the way.
