About the exam
Students who stay updated with current affairs and present happenings go a long way in nurturing their careers. GKIO — formerly known as National Knowledge Indian Talent Olympiad (NKITO) — covers topics that are not limited to textbook knowledge: environment, science & technology, geography, history, plants & animals, entertainment, life skills, language & literature, transport, sports, civics and politics. It allows students to open their horizons and know much more than what is taught in school.
How to participate
- Contact your class teacher, or participate individually by filling the student registration form.
- Schools can register a child's name, contact number, class and subject online with ITO and complete the registration.
- The exam is open to students from Class 1 to Class 10.
- The curriculum is based on State Board, International Board, CBSE and ICSE syllabus.
- ITO rewards deserving students topping the GK Olympiad exam with prizes and awards.
