What type of questions are asked
Question papers include problem-based figures, series completion, odd one out, coding-decoding, mirror images, embedded figures, symmetry, and alphabetical test questions. The complexity of the paper varies according to the class — for each class, questions are prepared around the students' knowledge, ability, and reasoning capacity. The syllabus is referred from the prescribed and updated syllabus of school boards like CBSE, ICSE, State Board and International Board.
Format of the Olympiad exam
Questions are divided into three sections. This format remains the same for the Science, Maths, English, General Knowledge, Computer and Social Studies exams for Class 1 to Class 10:
Subjective
Subject questions from the school curriculum.
Logical Reasoning
Patterns, series and reasoning questions.
High Order Thinking (HOTs)
Advanced questions that test deeper understanding.
Questions and marks — Class 1 to 4
For Class 1 to 4 there are 35 questions: 20 subjective, 10 Logical Reasoning and 5 from the High Order Thinking Section. Each question carries 1 mark.
